On Nov. 8, 2023, at its SHIFT event, Commvault announced the largest pivot in its 30-year history with the launch of a new AI-powered cyber resiliency platform and a new ecosystem of partners. The new direction and ecosystem will help businesses meet the ever-complex security demands created by generative AI and the rise of ransomware and help protect global businesses from cyberattacks. The pivot couldn’t come at a better time, with IDC reporting that only 33% of CEOs are involved in their company’s cybersecurity preparedness initiatives-even though 61% expect a threat in the next 12 months.
