Yesterday marked 24 years since 9/11. For my family, it will never be just a date in the history books. That same day, news broke of yet another school shooting in Colorado and the shooting of Charlie Kirk. Instead of pulling us closer, these tragedies seem to drive us further apart. And yet, at JFrog’s SwampUP event, I saw the opposite: people united in exploring how AI, quantum, and innovation can make the world better. No politics, no division — just shared purpose. In my latest op-ed for Techstrong.it, I reflect on this contrast in “It is the Best of Times, It is the Worst of Times.” Can technology teach us to be better humans? Can it be the bridge that heals division rather than widens it? I believe it can — but only if we make it our job.
